HI!!!!!
My new companion Sister Adamson is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! She is from Sandy, Utah and she went to BYU Hawaii to play soccer!!! So now we run every morning....ive decided its time to get some good running shoes and eat healthier because it makes running easier:) we will see how long it lasts...... She is super good at talking to everyone and teaching the doctrine of the gospel!!!! Ive learned so much being her companion and its only been one week!!! She is always making me laugh and smile:) Im so excited to have her as a companion!!!!!!
Sister Francis (the lady we live with) has been pretty grumpy lately. Her family is out of town so she watches their dog and she HATES that dog...probably because it acts like a dog instead of people like her dogs....we just stay down stairs out of her way.........this too shall pass......
WOW!!!! General Conference was amazing!!!!!!! I learned so much!!!!!!!!! I love Elder Hollands talk, "just keep trying" thats all Heavenly Father expects of us, to keep trying to IMPROVE!!!! We have the potential to become like our Heavenly Father, and when we remember that Heavenly Father notices our efforts and He is pleased with us when we do our best because thats the most we can do. Sometimes our best is different today than it was yesterday. That is why Christ atoned for us. He can help us and carry us back to the fold. We are like the one lost sheep out of the 99. Sometimes we get caught in a bush and we try to fight our way out ourselves. We are kicking and fighting the bush but nothing is happening, we are exhausting ourselves. Jesus is standing waiting for us to trust Him and let Him help. We have to give our hearts to Him so He can free us from the bush. As soon as we look at Him for help He untangles us, puts us on His shoulders and starts to head back. The trail isnt easy; He is carrying us down a steep rocky trail, crossing through rivers and streams, and over fallen trees. We are bleeding from the scrapes and whimpering from the pain as He climbs. Sometimes we feel like we are going to fall off because we forget who is carrying us. Jesus assures us we are going to be okay and soon we will be back with the fold and receive more help. Jesus Christ who does all He can to help us. He searches for us and waits for us to open our hearts and let Him in. He wants to help us improve and He will, we just have to turn to Him for help.
I know He lives and we are blessed to have Him be in our lives:)
