My testimony is simple. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. People say that all the time, some out of habit, others out of wisdom. I'm saying it out of wisdom; I am not saying I know everything because I am FAR from it but I know enough. My testimony has come from action. When I was about thirteen years old I did not know for myself, I fed off of other peoples testimonies expecting that would be enough, but it wasn't. I needed to know for myself. I started to read the scriptures, I started praying with my heart, I started to want to be Christ-like. Those actions changed my life. I started to grow, not a lot but a little. High school came around and so did early seminary. I was so excited for seminary and I loved it! The early mornings were bumpy but seminary continued to provide me strength; learning about Christ gave me strength, being with my peers that were striving to follow Christ gave me strength. My testimony did not come all at once. It started to and continues to grow from acting, from trials and pushing through the muck Satan throws at me. I know Christ lives, He is my best friend and He has given me the opportunity to be forgiven and return to our Father in Heaven. I know life is to be enjoyed, so I can choose to be happy or sad. I know Heavenly Father is our Dad. He loves us and He will do anything for us as long as we trust Him:) I know ALL of us (yes you!!) are important to Him, we are His children. We are his heir to The Throne! Always remember who you are!!!! Be YOU!!!!
I know I am called to Spokane for a reason. I know that there are people ready to hear the best message there is (God lives!!!) and that serving the Lord will allow me to become who He wants me to be:) Spokane watch out, HERE I COME!!!!
